Paranormal Activity

Image
This blog will be about a big problem with paranormal setting anime, that have gotten popular and a recommendation for one that does it well. What I mean by paranormal is that there's some mysterious curse, not the ghost kind of paranormal. It's a small trend but regardless it's sells like hot cakes. Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Bunny Girl Senpai is a super popular anime and it really confused me when it came out as I didnt think it was good at all, as the anime felt like a nothing sandwich with just the bunny girl to make a stimulus go off in your brain like those monkey juice reward experiments. This anime seems like it is purely pandering towards the youth, but won’t elaborate any further. It’s a trend for paranormal anime that they’ll have a paranormal idea but won’t come to any conclusion and cut corners leaving an unfinished sloppy mess. It revolves around being an outcast and ignored as some puberty disease that is around, so the mangaka can have an excuse to

Flipped Upside Down

Image
This blog will be about anime that flipped upside down which could be in any context, the blog idea I made in 2018. I never went through with making the blog as I just lost passion in the concept and was stumped on what I could talk about, now I finally know. Kind of made them upset when I cancelled the blog, but hey it’s here now I’m better at blogging, now let's talk. Gintama Gintama is regarded as one of the greatest comedy anime of all time for good reason, the reason is that it flips comedy on its head similar to show’s such as South Park. It is really one of a kind and the most unique series out there, being a parody doesn’t even tell 14% of this anime as it doesn’t stick to its labels. Gintama parodies every popular anime out there and rivals it in quality, this anime even has its own plot and amazing action as well. It mixes parody, comedy, action amazingly having episodic stories then goes to its own arcs as well. You could start anywhere and land on an episodic episode a

How Slow Pacing Can Be Good

Image
One of the worst things for anime watchers is bad pacing, but what if I told you that could be its advantage in certain circumstances. Before, we talk about the good side, which is the main premise of the blog. Let’s talk about how bad pacing can be the worst thing, if it has no meaning; like Tokyo Ghoul after the first season. Bad pacing usually isn’t intentional and is how you can tell that there’s bad writing, because they are rushing the adaptation from the manga, or they’re stalling while more of the manga is coming out. These issues are definitely prominent in the long airing anime, which is in every big shounen out there. The pacing can make you very disinterested in continuing watching and can make you very bored, which ends up making people drop the anime. There are however some anomalies, which people associate with the previous points, but to based individual like me, they are actually masterpieces. Slow pacing is not always bad, it can add to the whole psychological side of

Prince Vegeta

Image
Vegeta is my favourite character in Dragon Ball Z because he is an unlikely hero, which is pretty uncommon in the space of anime. I think he is so interesting for this very reason, although he was meant to be the first villain we encountered in dbz; he becomes self aware and goes on a journey to find himself. I think that is why Vegeta is more loved than hated in the fanbase because everyone can relate to him. He is by far the most petty and savage person in the anime but in a funny and good way, he says things no one else would dare to say. Vegeta being grounded in reality and because he is the devil’s advocate on everything, makes him so likeable as the anime is seen as everything over the top. As the nature of the anime is like this, that’s why Vegeta stands out so much because he is the most unique character in dbz. Vegeta's unwavering determination to surpass all his rivals, no matter what it will be, even if it's doing what others like Goku wouldn’t do. This makes him th

Biggest Chads in Anime | Collab

Image
Setting up this collab took me since last July, because of how many people bailed. So it's been delays after delays but finally it's here. This blog will kind of tie into the next collab of similar nature, this blog will be about Biggest chads, sigma, alpha, “whatever you call it” in anime. Now, first off, you may wonder? What is a “chad”? Many people have their own view and definition, but I believe the actual meaning is to take away the mocking post irony and be an endearing term. A chad by looks is nothing too special (we’ll talk about that too). We all know the meme by now. However, this blog will go way deeper than that, rather be mainly about a chad in mentality, is someone everyone looks up to. Someone who radiates their infectious attitude and spirit to bring people up with them, someone with honour, someone who is basically a person who others want to be like. In layman’s terms, is basically a “literally me” character in an inspirational way, someone who everyone striv
