How to Make the Most Successful Anime
Welcome to this blog! I came up with this meme blog when I was in the shower and instantly wrote it after so it didn't fade away. Well, I have to say amazing things happen in the shower. That's a coma gurantee!! Now this blog is not a rant but it's my own style of blogging, it's a satirical meme blog making the best anime accordingly to trends.
First thing that I can think of, is that any foundation of any good anime is the opening. Having a bad opening won’t dock any points to me unless it’s super generic. If the opening is even a little good it will gain some points to even a bad anime. Bad openings won't affect my score as I will just skip them, it's not really the main thing that can make an anime good but sure can help it a lot. There's been average anime that had really good openings like Servamp, which I really liked and some parts I wanted to be good but the score fell off a lot far into the show. The opening made me still like the show and I still wanted more of the show when I finished just because of the opening; even metal openings will give a legendary score to me.
These days anime studio's don't seem need to try in my opinion. If you can have an amazing opening song to your show, it will make the blind fans fall madly in love and then will be a highly acclaimed anime. I’m even guilty of this as I love anime just for the opening for some weird reason and I cannot explain why but I guess music can make a reaction in your reward system of the brain then make you attach it like a stockholm sociopath. Our brains love music, it can give excitement as that's how we are made and anime studios can take advantage of this by making their ost very enjoyable, while the anime is going on. Which is why a lot of slice of life anime have very moe upbeat songs in the background as it sets the tone for the show, that forces your brain to be happy; making you love it.
Okay, so you’ve hired a talented idol to make a great song for your opening; what do you need next? That’s right, a topic!! If you are out of ideas, just look at the most popular trend that’s hot right now and bank into the cash cow until the milk runs out. This strategy will work mostly all the time to succeed which will make it very acclaimed to the weebs. No matter if the plot is good, heavily isekai themes will always be successful, as every new isekai that comes out now gets eaten up by everyone. For your protagonist, if you are a popular studio which you are as this is what the blog is about then don't event try. To make him a well made protagonist, you can do a tonedeaf overpowered kid then that will also eliminate the process of character development as your protagonist is already maxed out. Just make him fight a lot of creatures with super overpowered flash cgi action scenes and people will love your oc that you made; progression or character building in battles or fights is not really a thing as much nowadays because it's just who is more powerful but I prefer developing that power.
Now you have your protagonist, he needs a heroine to appease fanservice. There’s a few routes you can take for this. Waifu one; for this you could add a generic waifu as a love interest, for this waifu you can make her like the protagonist but half of what he is so it's not apparent that you are unoriginal to viewers. Then make her be smart at times so you can have some comic relief between your two characters, in addition she has to be very pure and innocent so your fans can fall madly in love, every degenerate will want to marry her. Waifu two; this one is not as popular as the first. It involves your main character adopting a loli, you can add some furry into her if you’d like to make her more moe like a cat girl. Now you have your fans on your hook just from having a cute loli in the mix. Make her as smol and adorable as possible then make her do the most mundane things like putting on a hat but because it’s a small child it will be super cute and it’s that easy.
This option is controversial but also high risk high reward. As the anime progresses you can have an unexpected unneeded time skip especially because your show is an isekai, you don't have to explain why or how it happens. Pick a random episode half way through or at the end and put it in. Time skips are the simplest trick in uninspired anime, that help you when you are stuck on how to end something or don’t know what to do next or want to end your manga. Add a time skip and a final showdown that’s about your main character reaching his original goal; that he made from the beginning to round off the anime and will be seen as a valid storytelling scenerio but in reality, you did a lot of shortcuts. Time skips also help with original ideas as you can have fresh looks for everyone, a different setting, storyline, different changes in characters without ever having to go through that silly trouble of character development. It even helps when your management has told you “you got a volume left” and it will get cancelled or you wasted so much energy that it has killed you so you just pack it up with this trick.
As for your heroine that was a loli, the timeskip will make your cute protagonist into a well endowed maiden. This choice is very risky but the most common route in this trend, your fans will be divided on her being older as they’ll miss the smol version but will get used to her and love her even more when it’s over. There will still be some a very small portion (me) who will hate her because you broke her innocence and changed her, they want their loli heroine that was the only one keeping them interested but you ruined it. It's fine though as long as you got a majority of blind weebs eating out your hand, don't listen to it.
Now that's all the generic stuff to get a best selling anime in 2021 but some original spice you could add to the oversaturated genre you are catering to is; if you are not lazy you can combine isekai with something else that people like, for example isekai + mommy gf. This is a super galaxy brain iq strategy so this is just for the creators who have talent and want to do something new. Adding a twist or something new to a genre will always make your anime stand the test of time and won't fade from time as a quick money grab. People will remember it and will actually be very enjoyable, the most cultured fans will share your show like hot cakes, vocal minorities of based weebs can make an impact on the popularity. Congrats, you have followed all these steps and now a multi trillionaire and have the most popular anime of all time.
