Magnificence of Manga Artwork

What Makes Manga Art so Great? What makes manga art so great? Manga is a medium that doesn’t get much love in the otaku community compared to anime, especially blogs about manga are a rarity on aa; so I decide to make some appreciation for manga in this blog. Manga is amazing, it's like comic books but 100 times better. It can come in a million forms, not one manga is the same which is why it so interesting. Unlike novels manga has imagery so you don’t have to read that much which is why anyone can get into reading manga because sometimes I would find myself reading for hours at a time and didn’t even realise how long I had been reading. It’s a much better alternative to anime as sometimes you might not have enough time to invest hours into watching a show but if you read the manga it will take a portion of the time and if you have bad internet then watching anime is hell but you can read manga with bad connection or takes less space to download as opposed to anime. Most manga art

Perfect Blue 1998

Story The story for Perfect Blue is simply a masterpiece of psychological thriller and disturbing in a way, the whole anime is a trippy one it revolves around the struggles of women in the entertainment industry which when this was made the internet was just a new concept so Satoshi Kon focused it on the new technology and perfectly predicts what could happen with the age of people behind there screen obsessing over celebrities. Mima starts off as an idol but because of obsessive fans that are outraged then proceed to send her hate mail and death threats she decides to leave the group which is what starts the psychological trauma after gets offered an acting role but it has a rape scene in; Rumi doesn’t want Mima to do it but she decides to do it, now this when the movie starts getting weird when she does the scene she actually believe she is getting raped the scene is really disturbing and spooky this starts of Mima being disconnected by reality and thinks her fantasy of her acting i

Spotlight #1

This blog is intended to put some attention to lesser know manga and anime that I feel should have more attention for better or for worse, enjoy. Alice In Murderland Manga Alice in murderland is a twisted take on the most well known work of literature Alice in wonderland. Alice, a high school girl actually named is Stella, her family throws a tea party a family tradition. Her family lives in a mansion in a forest, the whole family dressed up as cult fairytale like her younger sister is little red riding hood and her mother is the Queen from Alice in wonderland and her father is The Mad Hatter. In this "Tea Party" all the children have to fight to the death for heir to the Kuonji estate. To stop them from refusing to not to take part in the Tea Party battle royale the Queen puts something in the tea that of you don't drink at least once a month you'll die. I love this concept as it take Alice in wonderland and makes it yandere truly amazing. After that the parents set

Law of Ueki Manga

Story Law of Ueki is yet another old manga that has a lot of wholesome intentions and good morals that it teaches just like Dragon Ball its has a good message to give to the shounen demographic. The idea of turning trash into trees, removing trash and making trees is an amazing message for a shounen manga aimed at young boys teaches the important message of recycling in a fun and appealing way for young kids as recycling being a super power which is incredibly wholesome and is definitely a manga you should let your kids read as it teaches them that they have to save the earth by throwing away rubbish. Ueki's character may be dumb and a stupid generic shounen boy, but he has good morals that we could learn, the morals of being righteous and sticking up for others, helping people also being a good Samaritan is what the personalisation of the main character is which is what I think shounen manga should be about to teach younger audiences how to be a good person Ueki a normal high sch

Blame! 1996

Interpretation Blame! is a manga from 1996 by Tsutomu Nihei a genius artist. It’s a super unique and surreal experience, definitely a masterpiece of manga and something that cannot be surpassed for probably ever in my opinion. This is a cyberpunk futuristic world building adventure and visual representation of artistic talent, if I were to compare this manga to any other anime or manga I would compare it to a modern day Akira because of how detailed it is, dystopian future cyberpunk and just how similar in there style they are and both of there themes Blame! story isn’t very clear or straight forward like it doesn’t blatantly tell you the story most of the manga has no dialogue just heaps of imagery so anyone can interpret the story any way they want and how ever they want because of the absence of story it creates its own story through a unique way of extremely detailed art just like when there no music in classical music where it has just silence for half a minute it creates a break
