Welcome to our first collaborative wiki organised with my psychological community Characters & Story - Neko.Inaru Hey, Neko here, and as the subtitle suggests ill be giving a run down and my thoughts on the story of Mirai Nikki; spoiler free of course. Mirai Nikki, or Future diary in english, is in short, a game between players, to the death. Well its not quite as simple as that you see, this one in particular is a part of the sub genre I'd like to call, the survival-game genre. It's self-explanatory, but basically it's where a chosen group of players battle in some sort through means of a game, or multiple games with many rules, or none at all, until one person or team remains. In this show, the whole premise is built on these things called Future diaries. Yukiteru Amano, your normal everyday protagonist is a shy guy with no particular talents or interests who just so happens to be chosen at random to play a game, by the god of space and time himself, Deus Ex Machina.
